Title: BIOPHOTONIC METHODS FOR INCREASING IN SITU ENERGY PRODUCTION AND ENERGY EMISSION IN BIOLOGICAL CELLS AND TISSUES
Abstract:
The present technology relates to a method for modulating in situ production of energy by a biological tissue comprising stimulating the biological tissue by exposing said biological tissue to a photostimulated biophotonic composition for a time sufficient to initiate the production of energy by the biological tissue. Said energy is in the form of ultra- weak photon emission and is stimulated by fluorescence emitted from the photostimulated biophotonic composition, which comprises a light-absorbing molecule, preferably a xanthene dye such as an eosin. Interestingly, said ultra-weak photon emission by the biological tissue is maintained once the stimulation is stopped.
