An auto-pipetting apparatus includes a dispensing head with at least one pipetting tip mandrel (200) having an elongated stud body (300) with an insertion end. The at least one pipetting tip mandrel mates with a pipetting tip (399). A first adjustable seal (310A), disposed on the elongated stud body, and a second adjustable seal (310B), disposed on the elongated stud body, seal the pipetting tip mated to the at least one pipetting tip mandrel. The first adjustable seal defines a snub surface. The snub surface effects a substantially continuous circumferential contact seal with radially impinging contact between the pipetting tip and the at least one pipetting tip mandrel. The second adjustable seal is adjustable between a disengaged position and an engaged position and effects a releasable grip and another substantially continuous circumferential contact seal between the pipetting tip and the at least one pipetting tip mandrel around the pipetting tip.

Cette invention concerne un appareil de pipettage automatique comprenant une tête de distribution comportant au moins un mandrin pour embout de pipettage (200) ayant un corps de type goujon allongé (300) doté d'une extrémité d'insertion. Le mandrin pour embout de pipettage s'accouple à un embout de pipettage (399). Un premier joint ajustable (310A), situé sur le corps de goujon allongé, et un second joint ajustable (310B), situé sur le corps de goujon allongé, assurent le jonction de l'embout de pipettage accouplé au mandrin pour embout de pipettage. Le premier joint ajustable définit une surface polyèdre adoucie. La surface polyèdre adoucie assure un joint de contact circonférentiel sensiblement continu avec contact d'impact radial entre l'embout de pipettage et le mandrin pour embout de pipettage. Le second joint ajustable peut être ajusté entre une position désengagée et une position engagée et assure une prise libérable et un autre joint de contact circonférentiel sensiblement continu entre l'embout de pipettage et le mandrin pour embout de pipettage autour de l'embout de pipettage.
