Abstract:
(EN) A grant may allocate resources for an uplink transmission by a user equipment (UE) in a system using beamforming, where the resources may be used by the UE to transmit data or control information during a time that a base station is listening in a certain receive beam direction. A UE may be in communication with a base station using beamformed transmissions, and the base station may send a resource grant to the UE for uplink transmissions that correspond to a receive beam direction of a beamsweeping operation. The UE may then transmit data and/or uplink control information to the base station according to the resource grant and when the base station is listening in the corresponding direction. In some examples, the UE may send the uplink transmission to the serving base station, and transmit a random access channel to another base station based on the beamsweeping operation.
(FR) L'invention concerne une autorisation pouvant attribuer des ressources pour une transmission de liaison montante par un équipement utilisateur (UE) dans un système utilisant la formation de faisceau, les ressources pouvant être utilisées par l'UE pour transmettre des données ou des informations de commande pendant un temps d'écoute d'une station de base dans une certaine direction de faisceau de réception. Un UE peut être en communication avec une station de base à l'aide de transmissions à formation de faisceau, et la station de base peut envoyer une autorisation de ressource à l'UE pour des transmissions de liaison montante qui correspondent à une direction de faisceau de réception d'une opération de balayage de faisceau. L'UE peut ensuite transmettre des données et/ou des informations de commande de liaison montante à la station de base selon l'autorisation de ressource et lorsque la station de base écoute dans la direction correspondante.
