Abstract:
(EN) A vertically-oriented blade fuse system requires less surface area on a printed circuit board, provides improved heat dissipation, is less expensive to manufacture and assemble and is more reliable. It comprises a fuse having two connection plates that extend away from each other in opposite directions. One of the plates is forced into a fork-shaped connector, which grabs both sides of the plate. The other connection plate is fit into a mating female connector. Multiple vertically-oriented fuses, laterally spaced from each, are connected to corresponding connection forks and female connectors inside a housing, which can be latched to a circuit board.
(FR) Un système de fusible à lame orienté verticalement nécessite moins de surface sur une carte de circuit imprimé, assure une dissipation de chaleur améliorée, est moins coûteux à fabriquer et à assembler et est plus fiable. Il comprend un fusible ayant deux plaques de connexion qui s'étendent à l'opposé l'une de l'autre dans des directions opposées. L'une des plaques est poussée dans un connecteur en forme de fourche, qui saisit les deux côtés de la plaque. L'autre plaque de connexion est ajustée dans un connecteur femelle homologue. De multiples fusibles orientés verticalement, espacés latéralement les uns des autres, sont connectés à des fourches de connexion correspondantes et des connecteurs femelles à l'intérieur d'un boîtier, qui peut être verrouillé sur une carte de circuit imprimé.
