Abstract
(EN) An interface structure for a biological environment including at least one composite electrical impulse generating layer comprising a matrix phase of a piezo polymer material, a first dispersed phase of piezo nanocrystals, and second dispersed phase of carbon nanotubes, the first and second dispersed phase presented through the matrix phase. The piezo polymer material and piezo nanocrystal convert mechanical motion into electrical impulses and accept electrons to charge the composite impulse generating layer. The carbon nanotubes provide pathways for distribution of the electrical impulses to a surface of the composite impulse generating layer contacting the biological environment. The carbon nanotubes further provide for the delivery of the byproducts of the free radical degradation from the biological environment to both piezo-nanocrystals and piezo-polymer.
(FR) L'invention concerne une structure d'interface pour un environnement biologique comprenant au moins une couche de génération d'impulsion électrique composite comprenant une phase matricielle d'un matériau polymère piézoélectrique, une première phase dispersée de nanocristaux piézoélectriques, et une seconde phase dispersée de nanotubes de carbone, la première et la seconde phase dispersée étant présentées à travers la phase matricielle. Le matériau polymère piézoélectrique et le nanocristal piézoélectrique convertissent un mouvement mécanique en impulsions électriques et acceptent des électrons pour charger la couche de génération d'impulsion composite. Les nanotubes de carbone fournissent des voies pour la distribution des impulsions électriques à une surface de la couche de génération d'impulsion composite en contact avec l'environnement biologique. Les nanotubes de carbone permettent en outre l'administration des sous-produits de la dégradation des radicaux libres depuis l'environnement biologique jusqu'aux nanocristaux piézoélectriques et aux polymères piézoélectriques.
