Abstract

Embodiments of an apparatus for generating electric power from flowing seawater are disclosed. Embodiments form fluid channels having magnetic fields through which seawater will flow. Electrodes are arranged with respect to the fluid channels and connected together such that electric power is generated as seawater flows through the channels.

Selon des modes de réalisation, la présente invention concerne un appareil permettant de générer de l'énergie électrique à partir de l'écoulement de l'eau de mer. Des modes de réalisation consistent à former des canaux de fluide ayant des champs magnétiques à travers lesquels s'écoule l'eau de mer. Des électrodes sont agencées par rapport aux canaux de fluide et connectées entre elles de sorte qu'une puissance électrique soit générée lorsque l'eau de mer s'écoule à travers lesdits canaux.
