Abstract:
(EN) The present approach relates to the use of energy-resolved, photon-counting detectors, such as CZT- or CdTe-based detectors, to acquire spectral information that is not available with conventional energy-integrating detectors. In certain embodiments, the present approach discussed reduces or eliminates spectral contamination incurred by transient signals in neighboring pixels in designs employing coincidence logic and shaping amplifiers with short shaping times.
(FR) L'invention concerne l'utilisation de détecteurs de comptage de photons à résolution en énergie, tels que des détecteurs à base de CZT ou de CdTe, pour acquérir des informations spectrales non disponibles avec des détecteurs d'intégration d'énergie classiques. Dans certains modes de réalisation, la présente approche réduit ou élimine la contamination spectrale provoquée par des signaux transitoires dans des pixels voisins dans des conceptions employant une logique de coïncidence et des amplificateurs de mise en forme appliquant des temps de mise en forme courts.
