Abstract:
(EN) A vehicle system includes a button programmed to output an alert signal, a communication interface programmed to wirelessly transmits an alert message, and a processor programmed to command the communication interface to transmit the alert message to an emergency service provider in response to the button outputting the alert signal. The alert message identifies a future vehicle stop and a time of arrival at the future vehicle stop.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de véhicule qui comprend un bouton programmé pour émettre un signal d'alerte, une interface de communication programmée pour transmettre sans fil un message d'alerte et un processeur programmé pour donner l'instruction à l'interface de communication de transmettre le message d'alerte à un fournisseur de services d'urgence en réponse au bouton émettant le signal d'alerte.
