Abstract:
The group of inventions relates to the field of forming three-dimensional objects by curing a liquid photopolymer using actinic radiation. A method for producing a three-dimensional object from a liquid photopolymer includes projecting an elementary cross section. A sequence of elementary cross sections is then continuously exposed to actinic radiation. The object under formation, which is fastened to a carrier, is then moved along a build axis. Furthermore, cross section projections are formed in the body of the object under formation to produce a functional element in the form of at least one channel and/or cavity to which a functional medium is supplied via the carrier. Said medium is comprised of at least one functional liquid and/or functional gas. Inside the channel and/or cavity formed in the body of the three-dimensional object, an interface is created between the liquid photopolymer and the functional medium. A device for implementing the claimed method for producing a three-dimensional object comprises one spatially modulated source of actinic radiation, and a unit for adjusting the position of the interface region between the liquid photopolymer and the functional medium.
