Abstract
(EN) The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A method for reporting channel information by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method comprises receiving, by the UE, configuration information from a base station (BS), the configuration information indicating K channel state information (CSI) reference signal (RS) resources configured, by the BS, for measurement by the UE; measuring, by the UE, a layer one (L1) reference signal received power (RSRP) for one or more of the K CSI-RS resources; selecting, by the UE, N CSI-RS resources of the K CSI-RS resources for reporting in a reporting instance; generating, by the UE, a report for the N CSI-RS resources, the generated report including a CSI-RS resource index (CRI) for each of the N CSI-RS resources, a L1-RSRP value for one of the N CSI-RS resources having a largest L1-RSRP, and a differential L1-RSRP value for each of the other of the N CSI-RS resources; and transmitting, by the UE, the generated report to the BS in the reporting instance.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de communication pré-5ème génération (5G) ou 5G permettant de prendre en charge des débits de données plus élevés, au-delà d'un système de communication de 4ème génération (4G) tel que LTE (évolution à long terme). L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de rapporter des informations de canal par un équipement utilisateur (UE). Le procédé consiste à recevoir, par l'UE, des informations de configuration provenant d'une station de base (BS), les informations de configuration indiquant des ressources de signal de référence (RS) de k informations d'état de canal (CSI) configurées, par la BS, pour une mesure par l'UE; à mesurer, par l'UE, une puissance reçue de signal de référence (RSRP) de couche une (L1) pour une ou plusieurs des K ressources CSI-RS; à sélectionner, par l'UE, N ressources CSI-RS des K ressources CSI-RS pour un rapport dans une instance de rapport; à générer, par l'UE, un rapport pour les N ressources CSI-RS, le rapport généré comprenant un indice de ressource CSI-RS (CRI) pour chacune des N ressources CSI-RS, une valeur L1-RSRP pour une des N ressources CSI-RS comportant la plus grande L1-RSRP, et une valeur L1-RSRP différentielle pour chacune des N ressources CSI-RS; et à transmettre, par l'UE, le rapport généré à la BS dans l'instance de rapport.
