Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire with which changes in the physical properties over time are suppressed and excellent performance on ice is maintained. An undertread is made of an undertread rubber composition obtained by blending Wu parts by mass (Wu is 0 or more) of a softening agent U comprising a plasticizer component into 100 parts by mass of a rubber component. A cap tread is made of a cap tread rubber composition obtained by blending, into 100 parts by mass of a diene-based rubber comprising 30% by mass of polybutadiene, the following: at least 30 parts by mass of silica; and Wc parts by mass (Wc is from 20 to 70) of a softening agent C comprising 5 to 30 parts by mass of a resin component having a softening point of 90 to 150°C and a plasticizer component. The cap tread rubber composition is such that the mass ratio of the resin component in the softening agent C is 0.1 to 0.5 and the rubber hardness measured at 20°C with JIS K6253 Type A is 60 or less. The difference (Wc-Wu) in the blending amounts of the softening agent C and the softening agent U is from 20 to 60 parts by mass.
