A vehicle suspension coil spring (2) according to one embodiment comprises a lower end-coil portion (20), an upper end-coil portion (21), and a cylindrical effective portion (22) between the lower end-coil portion (20) and the upper end-coil portion (21). At at least one of the upper end-coil portion (21) and the lower end-coil portion (20), a tapered section (25), (26) having a taper length and a taper thickness for controlling the load axis (FL) of the coil spring (2) is formed. The thickness of the tapered section (25), (26) decreases from a thickness changing portion (25a), (26a) located at an intermediate point, in the length direction, of the end-coil portion (20), (21) toward the tip of a wire (4). The thickness changing portion (25a), (26a) is disposed at a position closer to the load axis (FL).

L'invention concerne un ressort hélicoïdal de suspension de véhicule (2) qui, selon un mode de réalisation, comprend une partie bobine d'extrémité inférieure (20), une partie bobine d'extrémité supérieure (21) et une partie efficace cylindrique (22) entre la partie bobine d'extrémité inférieure (20) et la partie bobine d'extrémité supérieure (21). Une section conique (25), (26) ayant une longueur de conicité et une épaisseur de conicité pour commander l'axe de charge (FL) du ressort hélicoïdal (2) est formée au niveau de la partie bobine d'extrémité supérieure (21) et/ou de la partie bobine d'extrémité inférieure (20). L'épaisseur de la section conique (25), (26) diminue à partir d'une partie de changement d'épaisseur (25a), (26a) située au niveau d'un point intermédiaire, dans la direction de la longueur, de la partie bobine d'extrémité (20), (21) vers la pointe d'un fil (4).
