Title: COORDINATE DATA GENERATION DEVICE AND COORDINATE DATA GENERATION METHOD
Abstract:
This coordinate data generation device is used for a component mounting machine in which a process for mounting electronic components on substrates having different dimensions can be performed and in which a process for: capturing an image of each substrate controlled to be transported and stop at a target position; correcting the difference, specified from the captured image, between the target position and a stop position at which the substrate stops; and mounting electronic components on the substrate is executed. The coordinate data generation device specifies an image capture area when image capture is performed for the substrate that stops at the stop position. The coordinate data generation device is provided with: a target position information input unit that inputs information about the target position universally set for substrates, having different dimensions, which can be processed by the component mounting machine; a substrate information input unit that inputs substrate information including at least the dimension of the substrate in a first direction parallel with a substrate transporting direction and the dimension of the substrate in a second direction orthogonal to the transporting direction; and a coordinate data generation unit that generates coordinate data such that the edge of the substrate is included in the image capture area, on the basis of the information about the target position, the dimension of the substrate in the first direction, and the dimension of the substrate in the second direction.
