Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to an implantable device, suitable to detect and to monitor infectious processes, in particular at a prosthesis. The device comprises sensor means, apt to detect an index parameter of an infectious process and a control unit connected thereto, the latter being equipped with a storage area for storing said index parameter. The device further comprises an antenna, connected to the control unit and configured to allow a bidirectional electromagnetic communication with a remote reader of the device. In particular the device is encapsulated by a casing made of elastomeric material.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif implantable, convenant à la détection et à la surveillance de processus infectieux, en particulier au niveau d’une prothèse. Le dispositif comprend un moyen capteur, apte à détecter un paramètre d’indice d’un processus infectieux et une unité de commande connectée à ce dernier, laquelle unité de commande comporte une zone de stockage pour stocker ledit paramètre d’indice. Le dispositif comprend en outre une antenne, connectée à l’unité de commande et configurée pour permettre une communication électromagnétique bidirectionnelle avec un lecteur à distance du dispositif. Plus précisément, le dispositif est encapsulé par un boîtier constitué d’un matériau élastomère.
