Abstract:
(EN) This layered element (1) made of transparent layers comprises: two transparent external layers having substantially the same refractive index and each having a smooth external main surface (2A, 4A); and a central layer inserted between the external layers, the central layer including at least one transparent layer of refractive index different from that of the external layers or a metal layer. All the surfaces of contact between two adjacent layers of the layered element (1) in which one of the two layers is a metal layer, or that are two transparent layers of different refractive indices, are textured and parallel to one another, the diffuse light reflection of the layered element (1) on the side of at least one of the external layers having at least one maximum in a direction different from the direction of specular reflection. In addition, the area of the layered element (1) is divided into a plurality of pixels of the same size, each pixel having at least one side of length smaller than or equal to 500 µm, the texture of each textured contact surface within each pixel having a slope distribution fpixx, θy) having a correlation coefficient ݎ with the slope distribution ftotx, θy) of the texture of the total textured contact surface, the layered element being such that, for a sample of N pixels, the average of the correlation coefficients r (fpix, ftot) of each pixel of the sample is higher than or equal to 0.8.
(FR) Cet élément en couches transparent (1) comprend : deux couches externes transparentes ayant sensiblement le même indice de réfraction et ayant chacune une surface principale externe lisse (2A, 4A), et une couche centrale intercalée entre les couches externes, la couche centrale comportant au moins une couche transparente d'indice de réfraction différent de celui des couches externes ou une couche métallique. Toutes les surfaces de contact entre deux couches adjacentes de l'élément en couches (1) où l'une des deux couches est une couche métallique, ou qui sont deux couches transparentes d'indices de réfraction différents, sont texturées et parallèles entre elles, la réflexion lumineuse diffuse de l'élément en couches (1) du côté d'au moins une des couches externes ayant au moins un maximum dans une direction distincte de la direction de réflexion spéculaire. De plus, la surface de l'élément en couches (1) est divisée en une pluralité de pixels de même dimension, chaque pixel ayant au moins un côté de longueur inférieure ou égale à 500 µm, la texture de chaque surface de contact texturée au sein de chaque pixel présentant une distribution des pentes fpixx, θy) ayant un coefficient de corrélation ݎ avec la distribution des pentes ftotx, θy) de la texture de la surface de contact texturée totale, l'élément en couches étant tel que, pour un échantillon de N pixels, la moyenne des coefficients de corrélation r (fpix, ftot) de chaque pixel de l'échantillon est supérieure ou égale à 0,8.
