Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for operating a monovalent internal combustion engine by means of diffusion combustion in accordance with the diesel principle, wherein a fuel that does not self-ignite or is difficult to ignite is directly injected or blown into a combustion chamber (2) by means of an injection or blow-in device (1). According to the invention, the diffusion combustion of an injected or blown-in main fuel amount is initiated by a pilot fuel amount of the same fuel that was previously introduced into the combustion chamber (2) and ignited. The invention further relates to a device for carrying out the method.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour faire fonctionner un moteur à combustion interne monovalent à mode de combustion par diffusion sur le principe du diesel, procédé selon lequel un carburant à allumage non spontané ou difficilement inflammable est injecté directement dans une chambre de combustion (2) au moyen d'un dispositif d'injection (1). Selon l'invention, la combustion par diffusion d'une quantité de carburant principal injectée est déclenchée par une quantité de carburant pilote du même carburant préalablement introduite dans la chambre de combustion (2) et enflammée. L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif permettant de mettre en œuvre ledit procédé.
(DE) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines monovalenten Verbren- nungsmotors mit Diffusionsverbrennung nach dem Dieselprinzip, bei dem ein nicht selbstzündender oder schwer zündbarer Kraftstoff mittels einer Einspritz-oder Einblas- vorrichtung(1) direkt in einen Brennraum(2) eingespritzt bzw. eingeblasen wird. Erfin- dungsgemäß wird die Diffusionsverbrennung einer eingespritzten oder eingeblasenen Haupt-Kraftstoffmenge durch eine zuvor in den Brennraum(2) eingebrachte und ent- flammte Pilot-Kraftstoffmenge des gleichen Kraftstoffs eingeleitet. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens.
