A method and system for beam recommendation in communication systems is provided. In an embodiment, a method in a device for adjusting beam parameters at a remote transmitter includes measuring, by the device, device environmental parameters. The method also includes determining, by the device, beam recommendation information according to the device environmental parameters. The method also includes transmitting, by the device, the beam recommendation information to the remote transmitter, wherein the remote transmitter uses the beam recommendation information to adjust the beam width for transmissions to the device.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de recommandation de faisceau dans des systèmes de communication. Dans un mode de réalisation, un procédé dans un dispositif d'ajustement de paramètres de faisceau au niveau d'un émetteur distant consiste à mesurer, par le dispositif, des paramètres environnementaux de dispositif. Le procédé consiste également à déterminer, par le dispositif, des informations de recommandation de faisceau en fonction des paramètres environnementaux du dispositif. Le procédé consiste également à transmettre, par le dispositif, les informations de recommandation de faisceau à l'émetteur distant, l'émetteur distant utilisant les informations de recommandation de faisceau pour ajuster la largeur de faisceau pour des transmissions vers le dispositif.
