Abstract:
The present invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle authentication method and apparatus. The method comprises: upon receiving flight status information reported by an unmanned aerial vehicle, determining whether the unmanned aerial vehicle is a legal unmanned aerial vehicle, the flight status information being used for indicating that the height of the unmanned aerial vehicle from the ground is greater than or equal to a preset height threshold; when the unmanned aerial vehicle is a legal unmanned aerial vehicle, providing a communication service for the unmanned aerial vehicle; when the unmanned aerial vehicle is an illegal unmanned aerial vehicle, stopping the provision of the communication service for the unmanned aerial vehicle. In the present technical solution, a base station may determine whether a currently flying unmanned aerial vehicle is a legal unmanned aerial vehicle, and provide a communication service when the unmanned aerial vehicle is a legal unmanned aerial vehicle, and stop the provision of the communication service when the unmanned aerial vehicle is an illegal unmanned aerial vehicle, thereby providing supervision for unmanned aerial vehicles, increasing the flight safety of unmanned aerial vehicles, and facilitating the long-term development of unmanned aerial vehicle.
