Abstract:
(EN) Genetically modified microorganisms that have the ability to convert carbon substrates into chemical products such as 2,3-BDO are disclosed. For example, genetically modified methanotrophs that are capable of generating 2,3-BDO at high titers from a methane source are disclosed. Methods of making these genetically modified microorganisms and methods of using them are also disclosed.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des micro-organismes génétiquement modifiés qui présentent une aptitude à convertir les substrats carbonés en produits chimiques tels que le 2,3-BDO. Par exemple, l'invention concerne des méthanotrophes génétiquement modifiés qui sont aptes à générer du 2,3-BDO à des titres élevés à partir d’une source de méthane. La présente invention concerne également des procédés de fabrication desdits micro-organismes génétiquement modifiés et des procédés pour les utiliser.
