Abstract:
(EN) A mobile scanner gun system processes a POS sale transaction and performs real-time daily store level inventory management. The system includes a main body portion extending toward a handle portion and forms an interior cavity and an aperture with a lens. A plurality of Universal Serial Bus (USB) mobile input devices are attached to the mobile scanner gun, including a barcode scanner and payment card input devices including a "Magnetic Stripe Reader" (MSR) and a "Europay, MasterCard and Visa" (EMV) reader, both with USB access to a PIN Entry Device (PED) and a "Near Field Communications" (NFC) reader through a specialized universal serial bus wiring harness. The specialized universal series bus wiring harness is adapted to be attached to and communicate with the mobile tablet device for communicating with a system integrated therein that enables store level real-time inventory management and a fully functioning POS capability for selling merchandise in a retail sales environment. A main Printed Circuit Board (PCB) having a previously programmed Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) controlling all MSR, EMV or NFC operations through the corresponding payment card input devices of each. When a customer payment card is swiped through the MSR slot or dipped into EMV reader or tapped on the NFC reader for payment card processing, customer payment is processed through the proper secured bank card processing network.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de lecteur à main mobile, qui traite une transaction de vente de POS et effectue une gestion quotidienne de niveau d'inventaire de magasin en temps réel. Le système comprend une partie corps principal s'étendant vers une partie poignée et formant une cavité intérieure et une ouverture avec une lentille. Une pluralité de dispositifs d'entrée mobiles de bus universel en série (USB) sont fixés au lecteur à main mobile, comprenant un lecteur de code à barres et des dispositifs d'entrée de carte de paiement comprenant un "lecteur de bande magnétique" (MSR) et un lecteur "Europay, MasterCard et Visa" (EMV), tous deux ayant un accès USB à un dispositif d'entrée PIN (PED) et à un lecteur de "communication en champ proche" (NFC) par l'intermédiaire d'un harnais de câblage de bus série universel spécialisé. Le harnais de câblage de bus série universel spécialisé est conçu pour être fixé à et communiquer avec le dispositif de tablette mobile pour communiquer avec un système intégré en son sein qui permet une gestion d'inventaire en temps réel au niveau du magasin et une capacité de POS pleinement fonctionnelle pour vendre des marchandises dans un environnement de vente au détail. Une carte de circuits imprimés principale (PCB) ayant une mémoire morte programmable effaçable électriquement programmable (EEPROM) commandant toutes les opérations MSR, EMV ou NFC par l'intermédiaire des dispositifs d'entrée de carte de paiement correspondants de chacun. Lorsqu'une carte de paiement client est glissée à travers la fente MSR ou plongée dans un lecteur EMV ou amenée à toucher le lecteur NFC pour le traitement de carte de paiement, le paiement client est traité par l'intermédiaire du réseau de traitement de carte bancaire sécurisé approprié.
