Abstract:
(EN) An electric motor assembly for pumping a fluid through a fluid cavity includes a stator assembly including a plurality of conduction coils configured to transmit heat energy to the fluid within the fluid cavity and a rotor assembly positioned adjacent the stator assembly to define an axial gap therebetween. The stator assembly is configured to impart a first axial force on the rotor assembly. The electric motor assembly also includes an impeller directly coupled to the rotor assembly opposite the stator assembly such that the rotor assembly and the impeller are configured to rotate about an axis. A fluid channeled by the impeller imparts a second axial force on the impeller. The rotor assembly and the impeller are configured to be submerged in the fluid within the fluid cavity.
(FR) L'invention concerne un ensemble moteur électrique destiné à pomper un fluide à travers une cavité de fluide, ledit ensemble comprenant un ensemble stator comportant une pluralité de bobines de conduction conçues pour transmettre de l'énergie thermique au fluide à l'intérieur de la cavité de fluide et un ensemble rotor placé adjacent à l'ensemble stator afin de définir un écartement axial entre eux. L'ensemble stator est conçu pour imprimer une première force axiale sur l'ensemble rotor. L'ensemble moteur électrique comprend également une roue à aubes accouplée directement à l'ensemble rotor à l'opposé de l'ensemble stator, l'ensemble rotor et la roue à aubes étant ainsi conçus pour tourner autour d'un axe. Un fluide canalisé par la roue à aubes imprime une seconde force axiale sur la roue à aubes. L'ensemble rotor et la roue à aubes sont conçus pour être immergés dans le fluide à l'intérieur de la cavité de fluide.
