Abstract:
(EN) A method of optimizing acoustic transducer performance, and corresponding system, can include mechanically coupling a transducer (110) to a fluid barrier (116), calibrating the acoustic transducer by measuring response as a function of drive frequency to determine one or more optimum drive frequencies, optimized for the transducer actually coupled to the fluid barrier, and storing the one or more optimum drive frequencies for use in operating the acoustic transducer. Shims (112) may also be used between the transducer and fluid barrier, such as a boat hull, to optimize transducer performance. Embodiments can enable improved in-hull transducer depth sounding, as well as improved fluid level measurements in tanks.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur un procédé d'optimisation des performances d'un transducteur acoustique, et sur un système correspondant, qui peuvent consister à coupler mécaniquement un transducteur (110) à une barrière fluidique (116), à étalonner le transducteur acoustique par mesure de la réponse en fonction de la fréquence d'entraînement afin de déterminer une ou plusieurs fréquences d'entraînement optimales, optimisées pour le transducteur à présent couplé à la barrière fluidique, et à stocker la ou les fréquences d'entraînement optimales pour une utilisation dans le fonctionnement du transducteur acoustique. Des cales (112) peuvent également être utilisées entre le transducteur et la barrière fluidique, telle qu'une coque de bateau, pour optimiser les performances du transducteur. Des modes de réalisation peuvent permettre un meilleur sondage de profondeur de transducteur dans la coque, ainsi que de meilleures mesures de niveau de fluide dans des réservoirs.
