A transmon qubit comprising a plate capacitor comprising a first plate (202) and a second plate (203) wherein the first plate is disposed opposite to at least a part of the second plate, wherein the first plate and the second plate are connected via a nonlinear inductance element (304), and a capacitance (205) formed between the first plate and the second plate, wherein the first plate and the second plate are configured to form a vacuum gap capacitor.

Selon l’invention, un qubit transmon comprend un condensateur à plaques comprenant une première plaque (202) et une seconde plaque (203), la première plaque étant disposée à l'opposé d'au moins une partie de la seconde plaque, la première plaque et la seconde plaque étant connectées par le biais d'un élément d'inductance non linéaire (304) et d’une capacité (205) formée entre la première plaque et la seconde plaque, la première plaque et la seconde plaque étant configurées pour former un condensateur à vide.
