Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a tool for the installation of a foundation of an offshore wind turbine, said foundation comprising a monopile that is driven into the seabed by means of a pile driving device. The foundation may also comprise a transition piece that is to be mounted on top of the monopile that has been driven into the seabed. According to the invention the method comprises, after the step of lowering a monopile and placing the monopile on the seabed by means of a crane and a upending and lifting tool attached to the lifting block of that crane, the step of connecting the upending and lifting tool, while still attached to the lifting block of the crane, to a pile driving device. The pile driving device is subsequently retained by said upending and lifting tool.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un outil pour l'installation d'une fondation d'une éolienne en mer, ladite fondation comprenant un monopieu qui est enfoncé dans le fond marin au moyen d'un dispositif d'enfoncement de pieu. La fondation peut également comprendre une pièce de transition qui doit être montée au-dessus du monopieu qui a été enfoncé dans le fond marin. Selon l'invention, le procédé comprend, après l'étape d'abaissement d'un monopieu et du placement du monopieu sur le fond marin au moyen d'une grue et d'un outil de retournement et de levage fixé au bloc de levage de ladite grue, l'étape du raccordement de l'outil de retournement et de levage, dans un état toujours fixé au bloc de levage de la grue, à un dispositif d'enfoncement de pieu. Le dispositif d'enfoncement de pieu est ensuite retenu par ledit outil de retournement et de levage.
