Abstract:
(EN) The present technology pertains to an entire celestial-sphere image capture device that enables the occurrence of occlusion to be suppressed, and an image with which the depth information of a subject can be estimated to be captured. An entire celestial-sphere image capture device which is one aspect of the present technology is provided with a plurality of image capture units disposed so that each faces in a different direction. The plurality of image capture units are disposed so that, among the image capture ranges of the plurality of image capture units, entire image capture ranges on at least one circle overlap at the angle-of-view of at least two pairs of image capture unit pairs. The present technology can be applied, for example, to an entire celestial-sphere camera for capturing an image used in estimating the depth information up to a subject that can exist in any direction in 360 degrees in every direction.
(FR) La présente technologie concerne un dispositif de capture d'image de sphère céleste entière qui permet de supprimer l'apparition d'une occlusion et de capturer une image avec laquelle les informations de profondeur d'un sujet peuvent être estimées. Un dispositif de capture d'image de sphère céleste entière, qui est un aspect de la présente technologie, est pourvu d'une pluralité d'unités de capture d'image disposées de telle sorte que chacune est orientée dans une direction différente.
