Abstract:
Provided is an image forming device wherein, for a resistance component (Ra) of an internal impedance (Z1) of a static eliminating member (27) and a resistance component (Rb) of a contact impedance (Z2) of the static eliminating member (27) obtained by a Cole-Cole plot of a predetermined frequency range by the alternating current impedance method, the resistance component (Ra) of the internal impedance (Z1) is less than or equal to a value obtained by multiplying a calculated resistance value, which is calculated on the basis of a predetermined equation for direct current resistance value of the static eliminating member (27) necessary for reducing potential before static elimination of a light sensitive body (21) to prescribed potential after static elimination during a static elimination time obtained by dividing the contact width of the light sensitive body (21) and the static eliminating member (27) by linear velocity of the light sensitive body (21), by a first characteristic value calculated on the basis of the ratio of the linear speed of the static eliminating member (27) to the linear speed of the light-sensitive body (21), and the resistance component (Rb) of the contact impedance (Z2) is less than or equal to a value obtained by multiplying the calculated resistance value by a second characteristic value calculated on the basis of said ratio.
