Abstract:
(EN) Provided is an image processing device that includes a processing unit which executes processing in which: the degree of visibility of burn-in generated in a display unit is determined on the basis of the characteristics of the brightness distribution of a display image; and if the degree of the visibility is at least a prescribed level, the brightness of the display image is corrected to a brightness such that visibility is reduced. Further, the processing unit corrects the brightness of portions for which the degree of visibility is at least a prescribed level, to a brightness such that visibility is reduced. In addition, the processing unit extracts the brightness distribution of the display image, and if the extracted brightness distribution does not have a characteristic, the processing unit stops correcting the brightness of the display image.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement d'image comprenant une unité de traitement exécutant un traitement dans lequel : le degré de visibilité de rémanence d'image générée dans une unité d'affichage est déterminé sur la base des caractéristiques de la distribution de luminosité d'une image d'affichage; et si le degré de visibilité est au moins un niveau recommandé, la luminosité de l'image d'affichage est corrigée à une luminosité telle que la visibilité est réduite. En outre, l'unité de traitement corrige la luminosité de parties pour lesquelles le degré de visibilité est au moins un niveau recommandé, à une luminosité telle que la visibilité est réduite.
