Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a control method that allows the mean quantity of nitrogen oxides per kilometre covered emitted by a vehicle fitted with an internal combustion engine associated with a post-treatment system to be kept below a predefined fixed threshold, for any journey made by the vehicle. The mean quantity emitted over a fixed elementary distance that has just been covered by the vehicle is calculated iteratively, together with a long-term conformity factor which is equal to the mean quantity emitted over the entire distance covered since the start of the journey. When it is found that the long-term conformity factor is above the threshold, the engine and/or the post-treatment system is regulated in such a way as to obtain, over the next fixed elementary distance, a mean quantity of nitrogen oxides per kilometre that is lower than the threshold value FC, for example equal to 90% of the threshold, whatever the engine operating point. Thus, the long-term conformity factor converges towards the threshold.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de contrôle permettant de maintenir sous un seuil fixe prédéfini la quantité moyenne d'oxydes d'azote par kilomètre parcouru émise par un véhicule équipé d'un moteur à combustion interne associé à un système de post-traitement, sur un trajet quelconque du véhicule. De manière itérative, on calcule la quantité moyenne émise sur une distance élémentaire fixe qui vient d'être parcourue par le véhicule, et un facteur de conformité à long terme qui est égal à la quantité moyenne émise sur toute la distance parcourue depuis le début du trajet. Quand on constate que le facteur de conformité à long terme est supérieur au seuil, on règle le moteur et/ou le système de post-traitement pour obtenir, sur la distance élémentaire fixe suivante, une quantité moyenne d'oxydes d'azote par kilomètre qui est plus faible que la valeur de seuil FC, par exemple égale à 90% du seuil, quel que soit le point de fonctionnement du moteur. Le facteur de conformité à long terme converge ainsi vers le seuil.
