Abstract:
The invention relates to a design of a joint for executing a laser beam weld of two components (10 and 11) made of plastic, particularly for producing an automobile key container (1), wherein one component (10) is transparent and one component (11) is absorbent, such that, by means of a penetration of a laser beam (12) through a region of the transparent component (10) and by means of an absorption in an opposite region of the absorbing component (11), a weld seam can be produced in an interior region (13), if the components (10 and 11) are arranged one atop the other, and wherein a joining force (FN) is applied to the components (10 and 11) for executing the laser beam weld in the arrangement thereof atop one another from a joining direction (R). According to the invention, the interior region (13) between the components (10 and 11) is formed at least in sections by a rib (13) having a contact surface (15) inclined toward the joining direction (R) in order to form the weld seam.
