Abstract:
A secure small data transmission method and device utilized in a mobile network. The method comprises: a first base station receiving a first message from user equipment (UE), wherein the first message carries at least one of first encrypted data and first signature information; and the first base station executing one of the following: receiving at least one of a second key material, second signature information and second encrypted data from a second base station, and forwarding the same to the UE, wherein the second key material is generated at the second base station and according to context of the UE; and transmitting, to the UE, at least one of third signature information, a fourth key material, or third encrypted data.
