Abstract:
(EN) According to one embodiment, a method of making an abrasive article is disclosed. The method can comprise: providing a surface; disposing magnetizable abrasive particles on the surface; and varying a magnetic field relative to the magnetizable abrasive particles to impart a non-random orientation and/or alignment to the magnetizable abrasive particles relative to the surface.
(FR) Selon un mode de réalisation, l'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'un article abrasif. Le procédé peut comprendre : la fourniture d'une surface; la disposition de particules abrasives magnétisables sur la surface; et la variation d'un champ magnétique par rapport aux particules abrasives magnétisables pour conférer une orientation et/ou un alignement non aléatoire aux particules abrasives magnétisables par rapport à la surface.
