Abstract:
(EN) A controller of an autonomous vehicle receives a travel itinerary of a passenger and an airport map. The controller then uses the airport map to arrive at a terminal corresponding to the passenger's travel itinerary. Upon arrival at the terminal the controller communicates with parked vehicles (V2V) or infrastructure to identify an unoccupied parking spot and then autonomously parks. When picking up a passenger, the controller determines whether the passenger has checked luggage and adjusts and arrival time accordingly and may account for the storage volume of the luggage. The controller may also loop a circuit at the airport where a wait time has been exceeded. In some embodiments, augmented reality may be used to help the passenger identify the vehicle.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de commande d'un véhicule autonome qui reçoit un itinéraire de voyage d'un passager et une carte d'aéroport. Le dispositif de commande fait ensuite appel à la carte d'aéroport afin de se rendre à un terminal correspondant à l'itinéraire de voyage du passager. Lors de l'arrivée au terminal, le dispositif de commande communique avec des véhicules stationnés (V2V) ou une infrastructure afin d'identifier un emplacement de stationnement libre, puis se gare de manière autonome. Lors du ramassage d'un passager, le dispositif de commande détermine si le passager a enregistré un bagage et règle en conséquence une heure d'arrivée, et peut prendre en compte le volume de stockage du bagage. Le dispositif de commande peut également prévenir un circuit dans l'aéroport lorsqu'un temps d'attente a été dépassé. Dans certains modes de réalisation, la réalité augmentée peut être utilisée de façon à aider le passager à identifier le véhicule.
