A communication device capable of acting as proxy for communication with a plurality of other communication devices at the request from a client device in a network conforming to the Neighbor Awareness Networking standard, the communication device receiving a signal for notifying that a service is being provided in a prescribed time period arriving at prescribed intervals from each of the plurality of other communication devices, determining whether or not the client device must be notified about information pertaining to the other communication device that is the transmission source of the signal, and notifying the client device about the information pertaining to the other communication device in the prescribed time period when it is determined that the client device be notified.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de communication capable d'agir comme mandataire pour une communication avec une pluralité d'autres dispositifs de communication au niveau de la demande provenant d'un dispositif client dans un réseau conforme à la norme de mise en réseau sensible au voisinage, le dispositif de communication reçoit un signal pour notifier qu'un service est fourni dans une période de temps prescrite arrivant à des intervalles prescrits à partir de chacun de la pluralité d'autres dispositifs de communication, détermine si le dispositif client doit ou non être notifié d'informations relatives à l'autre dispositif de communication qui est la source de transmission du signal, et notifie au dispositif client les informations concernant l'autre dispositif de communication dans la période de temps prescrite lorsqu'il est déterminé que le dispositif client est informé.

Neighbor Awareness Networking規格に準拠するネットワークにおいて、クライアント装置から依頼を受けて複数の他の通信装置との通信を代理することが可能な通信装置は、該複数の他の通信装置のそれぞれから、サービスを提供していることを通知するための信号を、所定の間隔で到来する所定の時間期間において受信する受信し、該信号の送信元の他の通信装置に関する情報を前該クライアント装置に通知すべきか否かを判定し、該クライアント装置に通知すべきと判定された場合、該他の通信装置に関する情報を、該所定の時間期間において該クライアント装置に通知する。
