Abstract:
The polishing of a three-dimensional curved surface of buildings, structures, and the like at a constant pressure has conventionally been done manually. Provided is a hand tool that, by being mounted on an articulated robot or the like, is capable of automatically performing polishing of a three-dimensional curved surface at a constant pressure. The hand tool includes: a frame; a pressure sensor disposed on an upper section of the frame; a pair of arms disposed on a lower section of the frame; a rotating brush having a rotating shaft pivotally supported on the pair of arms; a motor disposed within the frame; a drive-side pulley connected to a rotating shaft of the motor; a driven-side pulley directly connected to a rotating shaft of the rotating brush; and a drive belt connecting the drive-side pulley and the driven-side pulley. The drive-side pulley, the driven-side pulley, and the drive belt are located on the outer side of the frame, and the motor is disposed inside the frame on a side opposite to the side on which the drive-side pulley, the driven-side pulley and the drive belt are disposed, across the center line of the frame.
