A method is described for controlling the positioning of a tool (U) on a pressing table (12) comprised in a bending press (10), comprising the steps of: detecting by an electronic device (60) an action performed in real time by a human operator (F), processing (20) an electrical signal, generated by the electronic device due to said action, to calculate a coordinate of the tool relative to the pressing table, moving the tool at or toward such coordinate. The method solves the problem of the considerable complexity of manually inserting tool positional data.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de commande du positionnement d'un outil (U) sur une table de presse (12) comprise dans une presse de pliage (10), comprenant les étapes consistant à : détecter, au moyen d'un dispositif électronique (60), une action effectuée en temps réel par un opérateur humain (F), traiter (20) un signal électrique, généré par le dispositif électronique en raison de ladite action, pour calculer une coordonnée de l'outil par rapport à la table de presse, déplacer l'outil en direction d'une telle coordonnée ou exactement à l'endroit d'une telle coordonnée. Le procédé résout le problème de la complexité considérable de l'insertion manuelle de données de position d'outil.
