Abstract

The valve-controlled ignition pre-chamber (1) is intended for an internal combustion engine (2) which has a combustion chamber (5) in which a main charge (30) more less diluted with a neutral gas is ignited, said prechamber (1) comprising a stratification cavity (6) into which ignition means (11) open and into which a stratification injector (8) can inject a pressurized readily-inflammable pilot charge (9), a stratification valve (13) being able to close off the stratification duct (7) in full or in part, notably under the effect of the pressure of the gases obtaining in the combustion chamber (11).

La préchambre d'allumage à clapet (1) est prévue pour un moteur à combustion interne (2) qui présente une chambre de combustion (5) dans laquelle est mise à feu une charge principale (30) plus ou moins diluée avec un gaz neutre, ladite préchambre (1) comprenant une cavité de stratification (6) dans laquelle débouchent des moyens d'allumage (11) et dans laquelle un injecteur de stratification (8) peut injecter sous pression une charge pilote (9) facilement inflammable, un clapet de stratification (13) pouvant obturer en tout ou partie le conduit de stratification (7) notamment sous l'effet de la pression des gaz régnant dans la chambre de combustion (11).
