Provided is a circuit for controlling dual cameras, a mobile terminal, and a method. The circuit can comprise: a first camera, a second camera, a first power supply, a second power supply and a control unit, wherein the first power supply supplies power to the first camera, and the second power supply supplies power to the second camera; a first end of the first camera is connected to a first end of the control unit, a first end of the second camera is connected to a second end of the control unit, and the control unit is used to transmit a synchronization signal between the first camera and the second camera; and the control unit is used to detect whether there is only one camera working in the first camera and the second camera, and if so, the circuit between the first end and the second end of the control unit is controlled to be disconnected. In this way, when there is only one camera working, a circuit for transmitting a synchronization signal between two cameras is disconnected, so that electric leakage of the synchronization signal to the non-working camera is avoided, thereby eliminating potential safety hazards.
