Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods for musical tempo detection are provided. The method includes detecting peaks and their locations in a waveform of a digital audio track, and dividing the track into first measures with a first-measure length based on a first estimated tempo. The method includes determining distances between a beginning of the first measures and each peak location, and determining a first number of peaks having the same distance from the beginning of the first measures. The method includes dividing the track into second measures with a second-measure length based on a second estimated tempo; determining distances between a beginning of the second measures and each peak location; and determining a second number of peaks having the same distance from the beginning of each of the second measures. The method includes estimating an accurate tempo by comparing the first number of peaks and the second number of peaks.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de détection de tempo musical. Le procédé comprend la détection de crêtes et de leurs emplacements dans une forme d'onde d'une piste audio numérique, et la division de la piste en premières mesures ayant une première longueur de mesure sur la base d'un premier tempo estimé. Le procédé consiste à déterminer des distances entre un début des premières mesures et chaque emplacement de crête, et à déterminer un premier nombre de crêtes ayant la même distance à partir du début des premières mesures. Le procédé consiste à diviser la piste en secondes mesures ayant une seconde longueur de mesure sur la base d'un second tempo estimé ; à déterminer des distances entre un début des secondes mesures et chaque emplacement de crête ; à déterminer un second nombre de crêtes ayant la même distance à partir du début de chacune des secondes mesures.
