Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods for using virtual reality content as therapeutic treatment of psychological, psychiatric or medical conditions of a user are provided. The system may comprise a VR device for displaying the VR content to the user and one or more biometric monitors for monitoring the user's biometrics before, during and/or after exposure to the VR content. The system may further include a processor and one or more modules for analyzing the user's biometrics. The method may include the steps of measuring the user's initial biometric data, exposing the user to selected VR content, measuring the user's biometric data during and/or after exposure to the VR content, analyzing changes in the user's biometric data resulting from the selected VR content, determining whether the selected VR content as a positive effect on the psychological, psychiatric or medical condition of the user.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés destinés à utiliser un contenu de réalité virtuelle (RV) en tant que traitement thérapeutique de troubles psychologiques, psychiatriques ou médicaux d'un utilisateur. Le système peut comporter un dispositif de RV destiné à afficher le contenu de RV à l'utilisateur et un ou plusieurs dispositifs de surveillance biométrique destinés à surveiller la biométrie de l'utilisateur avant, pendant et/ou après l'exposition au contenu de RV. Le système peut en outre comprendre un processeur et un ou plusieurs modules destinés à analyser la biométrie de l'utilisateur. Le procédé peut comprendre les étapes consistant à mesurer les données biométriques initiales de l'utilisateur, à exposer l'utilisateur à un contenu de RV sélectionné, à mesurer les données biométriques de l'utilisateur pendant et/ou après l'exposition au contenu de RV, à analyser des changements des données biométriques de l'utilisateur résultant du contenu de RV sélectionné, à déterminer si le contenu de RV sélectionné exerce un effet positif sur le trouble psychologique, psychiatrique ou médical de l'utilisateur.
