Abstract:
(EN) A method for forming features in an exterior surface of a heat transfer tube includes forming a plurality of channels into the surface, where the channels are substantially parallel to one another and extend at a first angle to a longitudinal axis to the tube. A plurality of cuts are then made into the surface, where the cuts substantially parallel to one another and extending at a second angle to a longitudinal axis to the tube, the second angle different from the first angle. The cutting step forms individual fin segments extending from the surface, the fin segments separated from one another by the channels and the cuts.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de formation d'éléments dans une surface extérieure d'un tube de transfert de chaleur consistant à former une pluralité de canaux dans la surface, les canaux étant sensiblement parallèles les uns aux autres et s'étendant selon un premier angle par rapport à un axe longitudinal vers le tube. Une pluralité de découpes sont ensuite réalisées dans la surface, les découpes étant sensiblement parallèles les unes aux autres et s'étendant selon un second angle par rapport à un axe longitudinal vers le tube, le second angle étant différent du premier angle. L'étape de coupe forme des segments d'ailette individuels s'étendant à partir de la surface, les segments d'ailette étant séparés les uns des autres par les canaux et les découpes.
