Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). A method for operating a base station in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes determining a transmission beam of a terminal based on a preamble sequence received from the terminal, determining, an identifier for the transmission beam based on a preset mapping relationship, and transmitting, to the terminal, a random access response comprising the identifier for the transmission beam.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de communication de pré-5e génération (5G) ou de 5G pouvant prendre en charge des débits de données plus élevés, supérieurs à ceux d'un système de communication de 4e génération (4G) tel qu'un système d'évolution à long terme (LTE). L'invention concerne un procédé d'exploitation d'une station de base dans un système de communication sans fil. Le procédé consiste: à déterminer un faisceau de transmission d'un terminal sur la base d'une séquence de préambule reçue du terminal; à déterminer un identifiant pour le faisceau de transmission sur la base d'une relation de mappage prédéfinie; et à transmettre au terminal une réponse à une demande d'accès aléatoire comprenant l'identifiant pour le faisceau de transmission.
