Abstract:
The present invention identifies a gene cluster contributing to the biosynthesis of a cyclic peptide compound produced by Curvularia filamentous fungi, and establishes a system for synthesizing said cyclic peptide compound. The present invention has first to tenth modules, and codes for a protein exhibiting nonribosomal peptide synthetic activity for forming a basic peptide backbone of a cyclic peptide compound produced by Curvularia filamentous fungi.
