Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a collector box (4) for a heat exchanger (1), in particular for a motor vehicle, defining at least one cavity (10) for circulation of a heat transfer fluid and comprising at least one opening (O) to receive, in a sealed manner, an end of a heat exchange tube (3) communicating with said at least one cavity (10). According to the invention, the collector box (4) is made of at least one strip (5) of material folded over itself around its longitudinal axis (X), said at least one cavity (10) being closed by the connection of two beads (B) opposite one another formed on the two longitudinal edges (7a, 7b) of the strip (5) and said at least one opening (O) being formed by two notches (8a, 8b) opposite one another, arranged symmetrically with respect to said longitudinal axis (X) on both longitudinal edges (7a, 7b) of the strip (5).
(FR) L'invention concerne une boîte collectrice (4) pour un échangeur thermique (1), notamment pour un véhicule automobile, définissant au moins une cavité (10) de circulation d'un fluide caloporteur et comprenant au moins une ouverture (O) pour recevoir de façon étanche une extrémité d'un tube (3) d'échange thermique communiquant avec ladite au moins une cavité (10). Selon l'invention, la boîte collectrice (4) est constituée d'au moins une bande (5) de matière repliée sur elle-même autour de son axe longitudinal (X), ladite au moins une cavité (10) étant fermée par la liaison de deux bourrelets (B) en vis-à-vis formés sur les deux bords longitudinaux (7a, 7b) de la bande (5) et ladite au moins une ouverture (O) étant formée par deux encoches (8a, 8b) en vis-à-vis ménagées de façon symétrique par rapport audit axe longitudinal (X) sur les deux bords longitudinaux (7a, 7b) de la bande (5).
