Title: ELECTRODE AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT DEVICE USING SAME
Abstract:
An electrode and an organic electroluminescent device using same. The electrode comprises a first conductive layer (1), a second conductive layer (2) and a third conductive layer (3), these three being stacked, wherein the second conductive layer (2) is a single-layer or a multi-layer composite structure formed by at least one of an alkaline-earth metal, an alkaline-earth metal alloy and an alkaline-earth metal compound, and a work function of the third conductive layer (3) is less than 3 eV. The conductive layers in the electrode can mutually compensate for a defect in a film layer, such that the performance of the electrode is more stable. Moreover, the work function of the third conductive layer (3) is less than 3 eV, such that an organic/metal interface barrier can be effectively reduced to guide the injection of electrons, thereby improving the luminous efficiency of the device. In addition, the electrode has a better transparency, and can be used as a transparent electrode.
