Abstract:
A pixel circuit and a driving method thereof and a display panel. The pixel circuit comprises: an input unit (101), a driving unit (102), and a voltage compensation unit (103). The input unit (101) is connected to a data line (Vdata) and a first scan line (Scan1) and is configured to be controlled by the first scan line (Scan1). A transit data signal received from the data line (Vdata) is output to the voltage compensation unit (103). The voltage compensation unit (103) is connected to a first node (N1), a second scan line (Gate), and a third scan line (EM) and generates, under the control of the second scan line (Gate) and the third scan line (EM), a compensation voltage at the first node (N1). The driving unit (102) is connected to the voltage compensation unit (103) and is configured to use the compensation voltage generated at the first node (N1) by the voltage compensation unit (103) to generate a current for driving a light emitting device (OLED, OLED1, OLED2, OLED3) to emit light. The pixel circuit and the driving method thereof and the display panel combine threshold voltage compensation of a driving transistor (M3) of the pixel circuit with intelligent display, achieving dynamic resolution adjustment in real time for the display panel according to the focus point of a user on a screen displayed by the display panel.
