Abstract:
(EN) Described examples include systems, methods and apparatus for controlling off-time during a burst mode in an LLC converter (100). In one example, the LLC converter (100) has a primary side (102) and a burst mode controller (108). The burst mode controller (108) is configured to monitor electrical current on the primary side (102). In response to a determination that the electrical current is below a first threshold, the burst mode controller (108) increases an off-time for switches (104) in the LLC converter (100). In response to a determination that the electrical current is above a second threshold that is higher than the first threshold, the burst mode controller (108) decreases the off-time for the switches (104).
