Abstract:
(EN) Synthetic adenoviruses with tropism to bone tissue are described. The synthetic adenoviruses include an adenovirus type 11 (Adl 1) fiber protein or a chimeric adenovirus fiber protein having an Adl 1 knob domain. The synthetic adenoviruses can also include a transgene, such as a reporter gene or a transgene encoding a factor that promotes bone regeneration or repair. Use of the synthetic adenoviruses to target bone tissue and/or to promote bone repair or regeneration is also described.
(FR) L'invention concerne des adénovirus synthétiques présentant un tropisme vis-à-vis du tissu osseux. Les adénovirus synthétiques comprennent une protéine fibreuse de type 11 d'adénovirus (Adl 1) ou une protéine fibreuse d'adénovirus chimérique présentant un domaine de bouton Adl 1. Les adénovirus synthétiques peuvent également comprendre un transgène, tel qu'un gène rapporteur ou un transgène codant pour un facteur qui favorise la régénération osseuse ou la réparation osseuse.
