Abstract

The disclosed invention relates to a radiation-concentrating apparatus preferably utilized for concentrated solar power, and more particularly, high-concentration reflective concentrators that are constructed as a conical concentrator utilizing flexible high-reflectance layers that are produced by roll-to-roll manufacturing. In its first preferred embodiment, the disclosed solar concentrator is preferably utilized in a multi-frustum concentrator in conjunction with a solar- energy conversion device located within the volume of the concentrator.

La présente invention concerne un appareil de concentration de rayonnement destiné de préférence à une énergie solaire concentrée et concerne, plus particulièrement, des concentrateurs réfléchissants à concentration élevée qui sont construits sous la forme d'un concentrateur conique utilisant des couches flexibles à réflectance élevée qui sont produites par fabrication rouleau à rouleau. Dans son premier mode de réalisation préféré, le concentrateur solaire selon l'invention est de préférence utilisé dans un concentrateur à plusieurs troncs conjointement avec un dispositif de conversion d'énergie solaire situé à l'intérieur du volume du concentrateur.
