Abstract:
(EN) Briefly, a method for verifying the visual perceptibility of a display is provided. An intended message is written to a bistable display. Pixels that comprise portions of the message are measured and evaluated to determine if the message actually displayed on the bistable display was perceptible by a human or a machine. In some cases, information regarding the message actually perceivable from the display may be stored for later use. Responsive to determining that a message is perceivable or not perceivable, alarms may be set, one or more third parties notified, or additional display features may be set.
(FR) L'invention concerne, en bref, un procédé permettant de vérifier la perceptibilité visuelle d'un écran. Un message prévu est écrit sur un écran bistable. Des pixels qui constituent des portions du message sont mesurés et évalués afin de déterminer si le message effectivement affiché sur l'écran bistable était perceptible par un humain ou une machine. Dans certains cas, des informations concernant le message effectivement perceptible sur l'écran peuvent être stockées pour une utilisation ultérieure. En réponse à la détermination du caractère perceptible ou non perceptible d'un message, des alarmes peuvent être programmées, un ou plusieurs tiers peuvent être avertis ou d'autres caractéristiques d'affichage peuvent être programmées.
