Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a compact multiband microstrip antenna for radar systems operating in the X-band (8.0 – 12.0 GHz). This band is used in radar applications, including radars of the continuous aperture, pulse, single polarisation, dual polarisation and synthetic aperture type, and phase networks. X-band radar frequency sub-bands are used in civil, military and government institutions for weather monitoring, air traffic control, ship traffic control, defence monitoring and vehicle speed detection.
(FR) Cette invention propose une antenne microbande (ou microstrip en anglais) compacte multi- bandes pour les systèmes radars fonctionnant dans la bande X (8.0 – 12.0 GHz). Cette bande est utilisée dans les applications radar, y compris les radars à ouverture continue, à impulsions, à polarisation unique, à double polarisation, à ouverture synthétique, et les réseaux en phase. Les sous-bandes de fréquences radar à bandes X sont utilisées dans les institutions civiles, militaires et gouvernementales pour la surveillance météorologique, le contrôle du trafic aérien, le contrôle de la circulation des navires maritimes, le suivi de la défense et la détection de la vitesse des véhicules
